A mostly light to moderate, northwest to west airflow covered Ireland, generated by a temporary ridge of high pressure. Fronts, associated with a depression centred approximately west of Erris Head, approached. There were a few scattered showers during the night. Showery rain approached from the west during the morning and moved eastwards during the day, mainly affecting the North and West. Rain moved from the northwest during the evening and moved southeastwards mostly clearing by night. Winds picked up along the Atlantic seaboard during the afternoon and evening. Mist developed along the Atlantic seaboard during the afternoon and evening also.

Ireland lay between a depression, centred west of Norway and an anticyclone centred near the Azores, in a mostly moderate to fresh, westerly airflow. Generally cloudy day with scattered outbreaks of light rain, drizzle and some isolated showers too, mainly affecting the northern half of the country, while much of the South and East stayed dry. Fog and mist patches throughout the morning and in the evening. Some clear intervals occurred, especially in the South and East through the afternoon and evening. More persistent rain affected northwestern parts later in the evening, clearing northwards later in the night.

An anticyclone, centred over mainland Europe, and a depression centred northwest of Erris Head, generated a moderate to strong, southwesterly airflow. An associated frontal wave lay over the north of the country. The day was humid with sunny spells away from the west and northwest, where outbreaks of rain and drizzle were most persistent. Drier conditions prevailed elsewhere, with only isolated rain and drizzle. The night stayed generally cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most persistent in the West and North, while patchier falls occurred elsewhere with occasional clear spells. Some mist and fog developed on south and southeast coasts and conditions remained mild and humid.

A depression, centred near the Faroe Islands, tracked eastwards and maintained a moderate to fresh, southwesterly airflow over Ireland. Rain moved in across the northwest during the morning, spreading over the north and west. It was heavy at times in the Northwest. Through the afternoon and evening, that rain tracked southeastwards, gradually becoming lighter and patchier. Behind it, clearer conditions developed from the northwest with sunny spells and isolated showers. Overnight, the lingering rain and drizzle slowly cleared from the east and southeast, making way for some clear spells.

Another bright day with sunny spells overall. Some scattered showers in the West and North spread eastward in the afternoon, heavier and most frequent in the North and brightest further south. Showers eased by evening and the night continued mostly dry but turned cloudier later in the West, North and Midlands.
