A depression centred in the Mid-Atlantic, generated a moderate to fresh, southwesterly airflow over Ireland with associated fronts tracking northeastwards across the country. The morning was dull with rain and drizzle spreading northeastwards. The rain cleared to scattered showers in the afternoon, some heavy in the East. Later in the day, showery rain moved into the Southwest. The evening brought a mix of cloud with some bright spells, along with scattered showers, some heavy with some thunderstorms in parts of East early in the night.

Scattered showers to start off, which continued into the early afternoon, heavy at times in eastern areas. These showers became lighter and more isolated in the late afternoon and evening. There were some sunny breaks in the East and South. Coming into nightfall, it was clear for most before cloud and rain extended from the southwest overnight.

Low pressure lay to the southwest of Ireland and moved up over the country during the night and in the morning. Many areas were dry for a time with sunny spells and moderate winds. Some scattered showers in the western counties in the morning moved across northern counties in the afternoon. Cloud increased during the afternoon with more persistent rain moving into the southwest during the evening and extended across the country by nightfall. The rain turned heavy at times later in the evening and into the night. It mildest, driest and brightest further east.

A strengthening south-west airflow covered Ireland, as a shallow depression to the north-west of Malin Head, tracked northwards. Its associated cold front tracked slowly southeastwards across the country. The day was mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, drizzle and showers spreading across the country throughout the morning and afternoon. The rain was persistent and heavy at times, especially in the West. Drier and brighter conditions developed in the West during the evening, while the rain became confined to eastern parts. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle lingered in the East for a time early in the nightbefore clearing, as drier and clearer conditions spread from the west, with a few light showers and some drizzle patches developing in western parts later in the night.

The day started with a few patches of rain and drizzle and some isolated showers near western and northwestern coasts, along with some fog patches. Conditions remained dry with good sunshine for most throughout the morning and early afternoon. Many stations observed record June temperatures and some broke their own historical all-time record. Thunderstorms developed in the afternoon, mainly in the West and Northwest, with some heavy downpours, hail, lightning, and gusty winds occurring. Low pressure over Iceland extended a broad, complex trough south towards Ireland, extending further south to Iberia. High pressure lay over central Europe. The day remained rather warm and humid with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Showers turned heavy and thundery across the Midlands, West, and Northwest, with Thunderstorm Warnings in place for some counties. The afternoon and evening stayed warm with sunny spells and scattered showers, and thunderstorms continued to affect those same areas, but mostly the Northwest. The night saw showers mostly dying out before cloudier conditions developed with showery rain in the West and South, along with mist and fog patches.

Ireland lay in a moderate to strong, southerly airflow. Weather fronts, associated with a broad and complex area of low pressure centred to the west of the country, tracked eastward across the country through the period. A cloudy day with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the Southwest to start but moving northeastwards across the country through the morning. Patchy outbreaks of rain continued into the afternoon, becoming more persistent and heavier at times in the evening. Coming into nightfall, it was cloudy with any remaining outbreaks of rain clearing off the east coast.

A depression, northwest of Belmullet, moved slowly eastward and generated a fresh to strong, southwesterly airflow over Ireland. Overall it was a bright and breezy day with sunny spells, however, some scattered showers in the West extended eastward to all areas by afternoon but became confined to the North and West by evening which led to some more well scattered showers in the West and Northwest.

A depression located west of Erris Head, generated a moderate to fresh, south to southeast airflow over Ireland. Associated fronts tracked eastward across the country. Outbreaks of rain across the country during the night, heavy in the North. Mostly cloudy during the morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Scattered showers and occasional sunshine during the afternoon, with the showers becoming mainly confined to the North and East during the evening. Some of the showers were heavy.
